Rocking And Rolling At The St. Vrain Cross Country Invite

Through the opening half of the boy's 2A/3A race it looked like it'd go down to either Logan GullettTyler Ball, or Caden Schweer, but Gullett had other plans.

The Eaton junior gradually pressed the pedal to the floor, first shaking Schweer, and eventually Ball.

Gullett used the final mile to extend his winning streak to an impressive five, running 16:16. Ball took the runner-up spot here, finishing in 16:37, while Schweer finished third in 16:53.

Lyons had a 1-2 punch better than anyone's one, with Cole Thomas joining Ball inside the top-four. And that led to the team title. Lyons tallied 40 points. The Prospect Ridge Academy boys mirrored their girl's result and their tally, with a 72-point runner-up finish. Jefferson Academy was a close third with 76 points.
